How to get free traffic and leads using safelists

One of the most popular ways to build your list with subscribers is to use Google Adwords. Adwords is such a dominant force that you can test new markets and send traffic immediately as long as you can afford to do so.

But what is the best way to get traffic and leads for free?

The best way is probably by creating a lot of great content in a bid to generate organic traffic. But that takes time and lot of effort.

There is another great way to build your list for free. By using Safelists, or now also known as List Builders. If you do not know how safelists work, the concept is simple. You sign up (usually for free) to be able to email your message to the safelist owners list of subscribers. What's in it for the owner? Well they can send you their own messages and there is also a chance you will pay to upgrade to a higher level of membership.

Safelists came about after the recent canspam laws were enforced. Offering 'safe' lists of prospects that have all agreed to become members, there is no chance of being accused of sending spam.

To benefit from safelists you really need to sign up to as many as possible. But because each safelist has its own restrictions on how often you can send messages, this presents a problem. If you want to squeeze the most out of using safelists you have to keep track of when you are allowed to send the next message for each safelist.
